Agoura Hills splits neatly into two very different service areas from a chimney standpoint. Most of a chimney is impossible to assess from the hearth. The flue liner, the smoke chamber and the sections passing through the framing are all hidden, and those are exactly the places where a dangerous defect develops quietly. A camera survey is the only way to see a cracked or displaced clay tile, a gap in a metal liner, or a section where heat has been reaching combustible framing.
